Chef Chan's Woodlands

About Us

Chef Chan's restaurant was founded in 1979 in the Spring area on Kuykendahl and quickly achieved fame due to Chef Chan's expertise as a 4-star chef from New York.  The restaurant was the front of the dining section of the Houston Post and the Houston Chronicle twice.  Then, in 1990, Chef Chan opened the
second location in The Woodlands.  His son Lawrence, who trained and worked for Chef Chan in both of his New York restaurant manages the restaurant.  Chef Chan became best known as offering the best Peking Duck in Houston and both restaurant carry on the tradition and is the New Years eve special each year.  The Woodlands location serves the same menu designed by Chef Chan when the restaurant was opened and uses all the same recipes originally created by Chef Chan himself.  Although the restaurant is of such high quality, many patrons from The Woodlands corporate world frequent the office often and Chef Chan is one of the most popular delivery restaurants in The Woodlands.  Lawrence carries on the tradition of his father and the quality of food, service and ambiance of a New York restaurant.
